Ready-to-Use CHG Applicator for Superior Skin Antisepsis

Elevate Your Infection Prevention Protocol with Rapid, Persistent, and Convenient Protection

In the critical moments before a surgical procedure or invasive intervention, effective skin antisepsis is non-negotiable. Introducing our Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) Medical Disinfectant Applicator—a pre-saturated, ready-to-use tool engineered to deliver superior, persistent protection against pathogens, streamlining your workflow and safeguarding patient outcomes.

Why Choose Our CHG Applicator?

  • Superior Efficacy: Powered by 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG), it offers broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and fungi.

  • Rapid & Persistent Action: Provides rapid microbial reduction and establishes a persistent antimicrobial barrier that lasts for at least 48  hours, far exceeding the protection of alcohol-only solutions.

  • Unmatched Convenience: A self-contained, sterile, single-use device eliminates cross-contamination risks and requires no preparation, saving valuable time in fast-paced clinical settings.

  • Engineered for Precision: Available with a variety of applicator tips (sponge, brush, or spray) for optimal coverage and compliance on any skin contour or site.

The Science of Persistent Protection

Our CHG Applicator’s efficacy is rooted in a powerful, dual-mode action:

  1. Cell Membrane Disruption: The positively charged CHG molecules bind to the negatively charged bacterial cell walls, disrupting membrane integrity and causing essential cellular components to leak out.

  2. Intracellular Action: CHG penetrates the cell, denaturing proteins and inhibiting enzymatic activity, leading to definitive cell death.

  3. Synergistic Effect: When combined with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), the formula delivers an immediate kill-on-contact effect, while the CHG residue provides the unique, long-lasting antimicrobial film that continues to protect against microbial repopulation.

Designed for Clinical Efficiency and Patient Safety

  • All-in-One, Ready-to-Use Design: Each applicator comes pre-saturated with the exact dose needed. Simply open the sterile pouch and apply—no mess, no waste, no risk of contamination.

  • Application-Specific Tips:

    • Sponge Tip: Soft and flexible for gentle, uniform application on large or sensitive areas like the patient’s abdomen or incision site.

    • Brush Tip: Allows for precise, controlled application for procedures like central line insertion or arthroplasty.

    • Spray Tip: Ideal for hard-to-reach areas or for achieving rapid, even coverage on large surface areas.

  • Guaranteed Sterility & Safety: Manufactured under strict cGMP standards. Each unit is individually packaged to ensure sterility and integrity until the moment of use.

Versatile Applications Across Healthcare Settings

  • Preoperative Skin Preparation: The solution of choice for reducing the risk of Surgical Site Infections (SSIs) prior to general, orthopedic, and cardiac surgeries.

  • Central Line & PIV Insertion: Establishes a critical aseptic field, helping to prevent Catheter-Related Bloodstream Infections (CLABSIs).

  • Wound Care & Dressing Changes: Effectively disinfects the periwound skin to maintain a clean environment for healing. (Not for use inside open wounds.)

  • Minor Procedure Preparation: Essential for biopsies, injections, and other invasive outpatient procedures in clinics and ambulatory surgery centers.

How to Use for Optimal Results

  1. Don gloves. Tear open the foil pouch and remove the sterile applicator.

  2. Saturate the tip. Squeeze the reservoir to release the solution into the sponge or brush.

  3. Apply thoroughly. Use a back-and-forth motion for 30 seconds to fully saturate the skin area. Ensure the area is completely covered.

  4. Let it dry. Allow the solution to air dry completely for a full 30-60 seconds. Do not blot or wipe. This is crucial for forming the persistent antimicrobial film.

  5. Discard properly. Dispose of the single-use applicator in accordance with your facility’s medical waste protocol.

Important Safety Information:
