Storage & Stability
- Unopened tubes are stable at 4–30 °C until the expiration date printed on the label.
- Do not freeze or expose to temperatures above 37 °C prior to use.
- Once blood is collected, the stabilized sample can be held at 6–37 °C for up to 14 days without significant loss of cfDNA quality.

Product Description
The Cell-Free DNA Preservation Tube is a direct-draw blood collection tube specifically designed to stabilize cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in whole blood at room temperature. Its proprietary, formaldehyde-free additive immediately prevents cell lysis and nuclease activity, effectively inhibiting the release of contaminating genomic DNA (gDNA) from nucleated blood cells. This ensures that the original cfDNA profile – both in concentration and integrity – is preserved from venipuncture all the way to downstream analysis.
By removing the need for immediate plasma separation and cold-chain transport, the tube simplifies complex pre-analytical workflows in liquid biopsy, non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), oncology research, and transplant monitoring. Whether samples are processed within hours or after days at ambient temperature, you obtain high-quality cfDNA that faithfully represents the in vivo circulating nucleic acid population.
