CY-96000 Flocked Nasopharyngeal Swab is used to collect a sample of cells from the nasopharynx, the top part of the nose and throat, to test for respiratory infections such as COVID-19, whooping cough, and influenza. Unlike traditional spun-fiber swabs, flocked swabs have tips made of flocked nylon fibers that draw fluid into the swab through capillary action, allowing for efficient sample collection and disbursement.

Our flocked swabs feature perpendicular nylon fibers that optimize specimen collection and elution into transport media.
