High-glucose media are commonly used in fast-growing, low-adhesion cells, hybridoma myeloma cells, clonal cells, DNA transfected transformed cells, various primary viral host cells, single cell culture, and vaccine production, such as EPO expression using CHO cells and hepatitis B vaccine production. Low glucose medium is more suitable for the culture of slow metabolic dependent adherent cells. The medium without glucose can adjust the concentration of glucose at will according to the research needs, convenient and fast.
