BME culture medium is based on BSS, supplemented with 8 vitamins and 13 amino acids. It is simple in composition and suitable for various cell lines and special research. It is one of the most commonly used media in cell culture. In addition, BME culture medium is also the basis of many other media, such as MEM, DMEM and Glasgow’s are all improved media based on BME.
