Test principle of the Infectious Canine Hepatitis Antigen Test Kit

This product uses rapid immunochromatography technology to detect canine hepatitis antigen in canine fece, mouth, eye and nose secretions. If ICH antigen is present in the sample, it will specifically bind to the recombinant protein labeled with colloidal gold to form a complex that moves along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the ICH antibody coated on the membrane, showing a wine red line on the detection line (T). If there is no ICH antigen in the sample, no visible lines will form at the T position. No matter the result is negative or positive, the C line should be colored, otherwise the result is invalid.

Store at 2-30°C and be valid for 24 months.

Sample Requirements of Infectious Canine Hepatitis Antigen Test Kit

• Please refer to the instructions for use
• This kit is only suitable for testing feline whole blood or serum samples (hemolysis and hyperlipidemia samples cannot be used).
• Collect fresh samples and immediately put into the extraction buffer solution, which should be detected as soon as possible within 1 hour.
• If samples were not timely detected, store within 24 hours at 2-8°C and store within 1 month at -20°C.

Product Performance Indifelineors

1. Sensitivity ≥ 95%.
2. Specificity ≥ 97.5%.
3. Precision: no more than one false negative and false positive results within the batch; the test lines & control line (cards) between three lots shall be uniform, and no more than one time of color difference between lots.
4. Stability: valid for 24 month if unopened & store 2-30°C.

Interpretation of Results

Negative: In the test window, only one fuchsia-colored line appear next to “C”.
Positive: In the test window, two distinct colored lines appear next to “T” & “C” simultaneously.
Invalid: No color line visible next to “C”.

NOTE: Invalid test results can be caused by a variety of reasons and should be re-tested.
