Instructions for the Use of DNA Test Kits
| 1. Fill out the DNA test application form and paste the barcode on the top of the form. | 2. Peel open one pouch, hold the end of swab shaft. | 3. Gently swab your left side cheek up & down 30 times by the swab flocked tip, and rotate the swab, not touch your teeth& throat. |
| 4. Keeping one preservation tube upright, remove the cap, insert the flocked swab tip into the tube and bend the swab at the molded breakpoint at the edge of the tube. | 5. Discard the swab shaft, and cap the tube tightly. | 6. Repeat steps 2-5 to collect oral sample of the right cheek. and fill and paste the barcode on the return bag, put the 2 tubes in the bag. |
Note: Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum 30 minutes prior to collecting buccal samples.
Precautions
- Wash with water if stabilizing liquid contacts with eyes or skin. Do NOT ingest.
- Requirement: swab not touch teeth or throat
- Tightly cap the tube after collection, no leakage.
- 30 days validity of the DNA sample.
